The currency side of a payment

Pay a supplier, a team member or a bill in a different currency. Whether it leaves in euro or converts on the spot, the numbers appear before you confirm.

Exchange rate visible before you confirm Pay in 38 currencies from one euro account Conversion cost shown as a line item
How the conversion can happen

Either the payment is in euro, or the conversion runs inside it

Pay in euro, and there is nothing to convert

If the payment is in euro, it leaves the account as it is: no exchange step, and no cost beyond the payment itself.

1 — account currency: the euro.

Pay in another currency, and the conversion happens inside

When the payment is in another currency, the exchange runs during the payment. The rate and the cost are on the screen before you decide.

38 — currencies you can pay in.

Before you tap confirm

You read three numbers before you approve

Where the money leaves from is labelled

The balance the payment comes out of, whether it leaves in euro or converts on the way.

What lands is shown as a final amount

The currency and the figure the recipient receives, so nobody has to guess at the other end.

The conversion cost gets its own line

It is never folded into the rate.

The application asks for your company details, the people who control it, and a document for each. Verification follows — it is run by Orenda FS B.V., which supplies and manages the payment services behind the account — and Reibanq tells you as soon as it is done.
